Never not writing.

I figure, why start a new blog when I have a perfectly good one here?

Tidied up alittle. Plan to use this as something for alittle permanency. Give people something to link to if they want to share my ambitions.

Currently writing a not-planned to be published short story by the name Tala that builds up my main fantastical world. After that, I'm going to change tracks and work on Eleven Mercenaries. Which is a "safe" contained setting and story in the same universe as Tala.

A short romantic story. Written form and with the help of, a friend who hopes to make a comic out of it.

I've gotten a fair bit of praise for it from various sources, ranging from "Good but not my taste." to "YOU wrote this?!". Its reassuring to say the least.

Not dead, yet not alive.

Because The Rip deserves a restart, now that i feel less of a creeper about it.

A certain thing bugged a reader, and upon discussion and reflection, i realised its one of them nasty "You didn't spot it because you're blind to it due to privilege." things.

I know better now, but it will still need cleaning up before im confident to continue. But hey, I'm sure my two followers are heartbroken at the news.

Taking some good advice regardless 'tho, never stop writing and reading if you want to be a writer. Currently penning up some core structure to a magic system for a fantasy setting I've wanted to write for along while.

Not a frequent updater.

I know, I'm a terrible person for not updating this more often. I waffle and prattle on enough vocally that I don't feel like filling the empty space here when its not needed.

Times are busy, things are happening or happened and I have found myself writing small parts in other stories to keep myself going, The Rip needs a small revision and a major part cut out (Its creepy and a long story, maybe ill regret saying this one day but it really is just an example of how weird i am in relation to sensitive topics, but that's what you have friends for) which is keeping me from going too deeply into it at the moment.

I do have one thought to say here 'tho, just to fill the empty space and perhaps amuse anyone whos following this. How would Sherlock Homes be diagnosed by our modern standards? Hes at least OCD by my understanding, then there's the drugs (Cocaine I think?) so that's going to be an awkward discussion with his GP.
I half-seriously wonder this because he and Watson have to be one of my all time favourite pair of characters and I really should watch that modern take on the duo sometime, no idea what its called 'tho.

Working away.

And theres really not much more to say!

Its been a tough month for finding the drive, yet its more "on" then "off" lately, so 'tis all good. Roughtly chapter 15+ at the moment, so its aways off yet, but it IS going in the right direction at least!

I just killed someone who never existed today

And it felt curiously unpleasant.

I think I might understand why writers are unwilling to kill off characters now.
